Newport Boat Show from sellers side

Under not the perfect condition of cloud this morning, people were preparing for this evening of the event. Duncan Mclntosh Co. Inc is still holding the annual event "43rd Annual Newport Boat Show" at Lido Marina Village at Newport Beach today, May 13.

This event is able to be carried out with yachting interests of attendance. So, the existence of both sellers and buyers at this event is important.

Sellers have the clear different perspective toward this event than the buyers. As buyers are looking forward to this event, sellers are too.

Showing how big this event is, sellers are not from only the U.S., but they come from outside of the U.S. as well.

"We're from Montreal, Quebec, Canada," said Daniel and Roger, the representatives from Canadian Electric Boat Co. "We are here to sell boats."

According to them, weekends are the better days to sell boat.

"Like every show, Thursday has not a lot of people because people work today," Daniel said. "But, it's good for us because we can get ready our boats and staff, so we are ready for tomorrow."

Even though they took such a long journey to California just to attend to this event, there is a good reason for them to do so.

"This is our second year for this event," Daniel said. "Because we are selling 100 % of electric boats, I think California, comparing to other states, is more open to electric products."

Another reason comes from their environmental concerns.

"We concern about the effect from the electric boat to the environment," Roger said. "Our boat has no emission and is very moral and friendly to the environment than all other boats. That's why we are representing our boat here in California."

Their likeness of boat is coming from their likeness of the environment.

"First of all, we like water and sea," Roger said. "It is pleasure to going around and the lifestyle of boating."

As they said, their company PR video tells message how much they concern the environment.

Newport Boat Show will be running through until Sunday night. It would be an interesting time to join into those boat and sea lovers.
